A beautiful and rare Harmony H-1310 archtop guitar dating from the late 50s, made in Chicago, USA.
A particularly high-end offering from Harmony during the period, featuring a bound set neck with block inlays, a large body and beautiful sunburst finish.
This one has had a historic (non-invasive) vintage ‘Ultra Slim’ Lace Sensor pickup added, with some very tasteful brown Bakelite vol/tone controls added to the tortoiseshell guard.
Specs:
Made in USA (Chicago)
Sunburst finish
Rosewood fretboard with block inlays
Lace Sensor Ultra Slim pickup
Pickguard mounted volume/tone controls
Vintage non-original hard case
Condition:
Great vintage condition, especially for an archtop from the 50s. Some dings, marks and finish wear commensurate with 60+ years of play. Very playable low action and a great sound to be had, both acoustically and when played electrically thanks to the Lace Sensor pickup. One repaired crack to the back (pictured) - professionally repaired many years ago (evidently done to great standard, cleated properly).
Modifications/repairs:
Lace Sensor pickup with volume/tone controls to guard. As above, one historically & professionally repaired crack to back (pictured).
Accessories:
Non original but vintage hard case, fairly worn and slightly large but protects the guitar well.
