A beautiful Italian-built solidbody electric guitar under the 'Buxom' name at the Polverini Bros' factory (who were also producers for Eko, et al). As such, the factory hardware is pretty desriable in its own right, with the tuners alone being 6x close-backed Van Ghents, as found on a Burns, Hagstrom etc of the period.
Clearly inspired by a contemporary SG model, it features twin humbuckers, a double cutaway body and a striking Cherry Red finish.
This one had a pot cavity fracture (much like with an actual SG - so they got that right), solidly repaired and it's now playing fantastically. The 2x original humbucker style pickups are surprisingly powerful, I've not heard anything quite like them.
