A rare beast - Framus’ Z/30E model electric Zither, made in Germany and dating from circa 1960s.
This one is in impeccable condition, barely touched since having left the factory in the 60s. Complete with its original fitted wooden hard case - a beauty in its own right!
All original parts and hardware, fully strung and ready to go. The pickup is very interesting - maybe the widest single pickup I’ve seen!
I’m not much of a Zither player, personally, though I imagine this has some phenomenal studio utility.
