Silvertone 1448 model electric guitar, made in USA (1962) paired with its original case with built-in amplifier. 
 
Originally sold as a set in the Sears catalogue circa 1960s, as a solution for new and budding guitarists. The case is factory fitted with a 3w amp which is mounted to the top, with the speaker and grill facing outward. Produced in the same Chicago factory as the Danelectro and Kay models which found favour with many artists during the 60s.

Excellent condition, well looked after for a 60 year old guitar with minor bumps, dings and signs of playing wear. Some minor (common) loss to bottom binding. Amp appears all original, including valves.
