An original Gibson EB-2 hard case, dating from circa 1964.
 
Fits an EB-2/Epiphone Rivoli bass, but these cases also snugly fit an ES-335 (albeit with extended headroom).
 
Small grain tolex, orange-lined, Gibson-badged and one reverse-lifting latch (as was the case with all 'Gibson' badged home brand cases in '64, as opposed to Ess & Ess, Lifton etc.
 
In good condition, some wear but well looked after with latches working (albeit a little stiff) and fabric hinge holders still present.
