Yamaha FG-140 model acoustic guitar, made in Japan (1971).
Yamaha's classic no-frills model dreadnought acoustic guitar, made in Japan just before production of these guitars moved to Taiwan.
This is a player's instrument, a well-worn workhorse though free of any historic breaks. The pickguard has been replaced with a floral guard that complements the guitar well. There is a filled hole from a previous pickup to the bottom (pictured). The guitar however plays beautifully and sounds equally nice, with a very comfortable action and a great neck angle (these were quality instruments, built to last).
