Fender Silverface Twin Reverb amp, made in USA (1976). Stage-played by James Burton in 2012 for a gig alongside Albert Lee.James Burton Provenance:A great amp with some fantastic provenance, having been stage-played by James Burton alongside Alvin Lee at the Holmfirth Picturedrome in 2012. This was acquired from the guitarist of the Paul Hayes Band (a local Morecambe group) who were the backing band for the show and provided the amps for the show. James played this one in tandem with a '65 reissue, while Albert went through a single Rivera-era Twin Reverb Amp. All 3 of which can be clearly seen in a comprehensive photo album, with a quick search!

Servicing:Just serviced by Coopersonic (Nottingham) and playing wonderfully. Previously re-capped to a professional standard. Coopersonic service included: replaced power switch, new reverb transformer fitted, tremolo serviced with a lead dress and capacitor. Valves checked, all okay, preamp valves are a mixture of modern Sovtek and Electro-Harmonix.

Condition:Good used condition, some marks to tolex and general playing wear. The last time it was played was by James in 2012 and a full service has brought it back to running order. Factory wired for UK mains (no need for a step-down transformer, etc).

Collection only.
