Beautiful Yamaha model SA700, made in Japan circa 1980.
 
Purchased by the original owner while in Japan during the 80s, this is a fine example and is paired with its original Yamaha-badged green-lined hard case.
 
Built to compete with 335 models, the SA700 featured a semi-hollow body with F holes, dual humbucker pickups and a striking Persimmon Red finish.

In excellent condition for a 45 year old guitar, well looked after and free of breaks, repairs or notable damage. Some minor dings, marks and signs of playing wear. Finish has aged with time, some fine cloudiness to the finish beneath the clear coat, which is difficult to picture. All original parts - one tuner is missing its backing (pictured), but this doesn't affect play or usability.
