Fender ABS moulded hard case, dating from circa 1980s-90s.
This is one of the 'Twister' latch case - the latches feature a fun twisting mechanism to open/close. A little more secure and a novel latch style that sets these apart.
They are also built like tanks and are widely regarded as one of the more reliable period cases. If I'm not mistaken, they were supplied with higher end USA models (e.g. the Strat Plus guitars) for a brief period. Perfect paired with your vintage Strat - though I believe they also fit Telecaster models, too.
In very good used condition, latches all functional, cleaner inner / outer and just some generic wear marks for a case that's at least around the 40 year mark. Some age-related tarnishing to metal parts. It retains a sticker to the outer that came with the guitar it was paired with, at the time.
No key - but why would you want to lock away your prized Strat, anyway!
