A lovely, very clean example of a '97 Stratocaster Plus, Fender's highest-end standard production model at the time.
 
In productions from 1987-99, the Plus model featured luxurious appointments including Lace Sensor pickups (a precursor to modern 'Noiseless' pickups, effectively eliminating the 60 cycle hum), a roller nut and locking tuners.
 
This is one such example, dating from 1997 featuring original Lace Sensor Gold pickups, its original hard case and even its original strap. In truly excellent condition, very well-kept with barely anything in the way of notable wear.

Excellent used condition, barely played with one careful owner since new. Very well-kept, looking it up and down I'm struggling to see anything in the way of notable dings or marks, just the token very minor sign of having been (carefully) played. All original, including its original hard case (uniquely produced for this model with silver 'Stratocaster Plus' signage to the front) and its original strap. The case has a minor repair to one of the 'feet' (pictured) and has otherwise done its job very well in keeping the guitar safe over the past decades.
