Fender '65 Twin Reverb reissue, made in USA (2000), stage-played by James Burton for a gig alongside Albert Lee in 2012.

James Burton Provenance:

A great amp with some fantastic provenance, having been stage-played by James Burton alongside Alvin Lee at the Holmfirth Picturedrome in 2012. This was acquired from the guitarist of the Paul Hayes Band (a local Morecambe group) who were the backing band for the show and provided the amps for the show. James played this one in tandem with a '76 Twin Reverb, while Albert  went through a single Rivera-era Twin Reverb Amp. All 3 of which can be clearly seen in a comprehensive photo album, with a quick search!

Servicing:

Just serviced by Coopersonic (Nottingham) and playing wonderfully. Previously re-capped to a professional standard. Coopersonic service included: New plug fuse, all pots cleaned, bias set, 2x power supply resistors replaced, 5x plate resistors replaced, replaced 1x 12AT7 (JJ) and 1x 7025 (EH).

Condition:

Good used condition, some marks to tolex and general playing wear. The last time it was played was by James in 2012 and a full service has brought it back to running order. Factory wired for UK mains (no need for a step-down transformer, etc).

Collection/delivery:

Collection highly preferred owing to weight, but please get in touch for potential mainland UK delivery (within reason!).
