A pretty rare Gibson Melody Maker P90 model, dating from 2014. I believe these models were made for just a year, to commemorate Gibson's 120th Anniversary.
Despite the Melody Maker moniker, these models are deceptively well-spec'd. They features a contoured mahogany body beneath a maple cap, being more similar to a Standard Les Paul in this regard. They featured Gibson P-90S pickups (with the 'S' standing for 'Slug'), using Alnico V rod magnets and thus are more similar to the P90 found on an ES-125 and are a little brighter than a modern P90, with the lead pickups being marginally factory-overwound for a better balance against the rhythm pickup.
Atop of this, they featured a fast-ageing satin finish (this one being Wine Red) making them ripe for natural ageing. Paired with a round 50s-esque neck profile, this made for quite the powerhouse guitar, albeit in Melody Maker form.

Condition:
Used condition with a fair amount of wear owing to the thin and fast-ageing satin nitro finish used on these models. It is however free of breaks, repairs or any structural issues. There is finish wear to the common playing areas as pictured, with finish wear to the back of the neck from regular play. Numerous dings and some minor scrapes to the sides, though again, this is more owing to the satin finish on these models. Frets and board in good condition with plenty of life left. Lightweight for a maple-top Gibson, sitting at around 7.5 pounds.
Modifications/repairs:
None.
Accessories:
Original Gibson gig bag.
