A wonderful Carlsbro 60-PA Reverb valve-driven guitar amp head, produced by Carlsbro (Nottingham) circa 1960s.

A lesser-known gem of the vintage valve amp world, I believe these originally had utility for PA systems, taking electric guitars exceedingly well.

Very Marshall-esque is the best way to describe this one, but in its makeup/design and of course, its sound.

Just back from a comprehensive service by Coopersonic (Nottingham), now playing phenomenally. Features a fantastic inbuilt spring reverb.

Here are Coopersonic's service notes:

"One EL34 had shorts, two preamp valves physically broken so a few replacements needed. Big caps were dried and leaking goo so time for some new ones here. Smaller electrolytic caps didn’t look so good either so thought we might as well replace these whilst I had the board out. Internal bias control fitted so we can bias it properly. There is actually a place for this on

the PCB but they didn’t bother to fit it in the factory. As there was a random assortment of broken and missing knobs, I have put some new ones on which I think suit it rather well, as we’re never going to find a whole set of the Carlsbro ones".

Cosmetic condition is pretty good, some wear but broadly well looked after. As above, the knobs are non-original, though what existed of the original knobs will be included in the sale.

No kettle/footswitches etc, just a fully-serviced vintage Carlsbro that's ready to go!

Collection only from Nottingham (NG1) owing to weight.

(P.s, Twin Reverb not included - used only to display the amp for photography!).
